Tori is herself an artist. This may partly explain how she is able to engage with the camera in a way that makes it easy to connect with her, while at the same time setting up lighting and mood for each shot that inspire me to try different approaches and combinations of media to represent her. Two actually….I drew two graphite portraits of people’s beloved deceased family members…As a former hospice nurse, this is very much in keeping with a deep spiritual feeling around death, dying, and remembrance.
